Steve
Schmadeke - Steve has eighteen years experience in object-oriented
and distributed application development including designing, developing,
and managing software projects as well as training personnel in object-oriented
design. Steve has extensive cross-platform and native development experience
in UNIX, Windows, and Macintosh and developed commercial software in
Java and C++ since the first year each language was introduced. Prior
to co-founding Talient, Steve worked in the Telecommunications industry,
starting with a stint at AT&T Bell Laboratories where he introduced
C++ into the department standard development process, and for a vendor
providing online access to search and display text and images from remote
document collections. Steve earned MSCS, BSCS and BSEE degrees from
Washington University in Saint Louis.
Nick Lonsky - Over the last 17 years
Nick has worked on numerous object-oriented, multi-threaded, multi-platform,
distributed projects which has given him the opportunity to become proficient
in Java, C++, C, etc. This has included the design, management and implementation
of these projects. Part of Nick's focus has been the application and
system performance of software solutions. He has thrived in time critical
environments producing quality solutions. Most of Nick's career has
been associated with the telecom industry. He has provided a wide range
of solutions, some of which include an artificial intelligence outside
plant map conversion project, a distributed transactional company database,
and a customer facing cable modem provisioning system. Nick has also
been involved in Web development which has included the challenges of
e-commerce. Nick earned a C.S.A.B. accredited BS degree in Computer
Science from the University of Minnesota.
Kurt Hall - With almost twenty years
of software development experience at leading companies both large (GTE,
Fujitsu) and small (Clear Communications), Kurt has a broad range of
experience in a wide variety of applications including billing, real-time
alarm analysis, messaging, data base design and access, network programming,
and system and network administration tools. Kurt is detail-oriented,
creative, and enjoys creating innovative solutions to tough problems.
Kurt earned a BS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from
the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
